DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
The project is a New Method of Teaching, where DANCE is a link between different disciplines and helps us move smoothly between them, stimulates creativity and frees the mind. As a designer and composer I observed that the process of solving corporal problems and freeing from mental pre-concepts (that block creativity), is very similar to any creative process (3D imagination, visual, aural, etc.). All of us have a BODY that can be a great reference point in development of creativity, if we give it attention and time. My main focus is to develop body awareness, skill of improvisation (in this case in TANGO) and musicality that comes from union of physics in the body, sound and touch (external inputs). If we master that process on a concrete model (our body as a reference), we can apply it later to any other field, by analogy. Because it will be incorporated to our whole organism, not only mind, the analogy will occur intuitively and instantly. The method can be applied at any age, condition and any professional level. I am convinced that the principles I teach is a necessary basic training in all disciplines and will improve quality of our life by reinforcing empathy, communication skills, adaptation to any situation, self-esteem, security, physical condition and holistic approach to life.
